76th Independence day
15th Aug 2022We celebrated 76th Independence day on 15th of August 2022. The Chief - guest for the day was Dr. S. Kumar, HOD, Cardiac Anaesthesiology and Critical care, MMHRC. He hoisted the flag. All students were performed march past on the ground. Followed by it, The Chief - guest, addressed the gathering about our national flag such as who designed it, what does each colour in our flagsymbolises and about some freedom fighters. He ended his speech with advice that we should utilize our freedom to promote our country.
International Yoga Day
21st Jun 2022International Yoga Day was conducted on 21st June 2022 at Conference Hall in MMHRC with Mrs. Uma Maheswari, Heartfulness Trainer, Heartfulness Institute, Madurai & Mr. Jeyaraman, Heartfulness Trainer, Heartfulness Institute, Dindigul as the chief – guests. They gave lecture about yoga and meditation. Their team have demonstrated some basic yoga practises for us. We did some basics like yoga mudras and meditation.
World Food Safety Day 2022
10th Jun 2022World Food Safety Day was organised on 10th of June 2022 at Multipurpose Hall on Meenakshi College of Allied Health Sciences with Dr. M. Balasundaram, Faculty of Medicine, AIMST University, Malaysia as a chief- guest. The Chief – guest presented a lecture on the topic of “3G Foods for Tomorrow’s Need” which is informative and useful to all of us. Two of our students presented a speech about Food safety in two different languages. All the students, faculty members & non-teaching staffs were participated on this programme.
World Health Day 2022
7th Apr 2022World Health Day was organised on the 7th of April 2022 with Dr. Kalirajan, Senior Medical Officer, MMHRC Kottakudi Health Centre, Madurai. The Chief - guest, addressed the gathering about Health. Two of our students presented a speech about Health in two languages. All the students, faculty members & non-teaching staffs were participated on this programme.
International Women’s Day 2022
8th Mar 2022The International Women’s Day was conducted on the 8th of March 2022 with the Chief – guest Dr.G.Shubha, Pathologist, Meenakshi Labs, Madurai. A total of about 50 participants enrolled for all the competitions. Competitions such as essay writing, verse writing, elocution & parade on famous women personalities were held for students. The winners of various competitions were honoured with prizes.
National Science Day 2022
3rd Mar 2022The National Science Day Programme was conducted on the 3rd of March 2022 with the Chief- guest Prof. M. Rajesh, The President of TamilNadu Scientific Forum has presented the lecture on ‘Technology- Yesterday, Today & Tomorrow’. Dr. S. Kumar & Dr. Narendra Nath Jena from MMHRC addressed the gathering. The Programme included speeches, competitions such as model making & collage were followed by certificate distribution to the students those who participated in Global Heartfulness essay event 2021.
Orientation Programme 2021
2nd Feb 2022We organized orientation programme for the 2021-2025 batch Students on the 2nd February 2022. The honourable Chief Guest for the day, Dr.P.Krishnamoorthy, HOD of General Medicine, MMHRC addressed the gathering. The Guests of Honour motivated the students on the orientation. Voter’s Pledge Day 2022
25th Jan 2022Voters pledge programme was organized on the 25th of January 2022 in MCAHS campus to make an awareness about voting in the presence of all the students & staff members. We all have taken an oath to vote according to our own conscience and not for money.

Tribute to General Bipin Rawat
13th Dec 2021On 13th of December 2021, we paid tribute to General Bipin Rawat, his wife and 11 others died in a helicopter crash in Tamil Nadu's Coonoor. Bipin Rawat served as the first Chief of Defence Staff (CDS) of the Indian Armed Forces. We watched his life history and prayed for their souls to rest in peace.
